May 2019 Spending and Saving

May was a quiet month. Nothing unusual, but I did do some Memorial Day shopping.

May 2019 Ending Funds
Checking: $250.00 [-]
Savings: $5,648.35 [+1585.87]
Emergency Fund: $1,053.82 [+1.64]
Cash: Need to Recalculate
Gift Cards: Need to Recalculate
401(K): $2,786.09 [+92.42]

Despite some clothes shopping, my funds are still going up! I have a lot of cash on hand at the moment, which I need to count and deposit. As well as my gift card balances. I'm hoping to NOT shop in June, but I should be booking my Tokyo Disney trip this month, so that'll put a dent in my savings for sure.

April 2019 Spending and Saving

Well, I am back to work, so back to regular paychecks. I did wind up getting normal pay last month, since they took my PTO after telling me I wouldn't have to use it if I applied for disability. So I got regular pay except for last week AND disability checks. Yay, extra money! But now I have no hours. Oh well. It's not like I ever use them. Free money.

March 2019 Ending Funds
Checking: $250.00 [-29.08]
Savings: $4,062.48 [+1798.16]

Gift Cards: $425.08 [+35.11]

Funds are up! This is a trend that I hope continues. Although I do have two vacations to book, so it won't last too long...

March 2019 Spending and Saving

I met and exceeded my goal to save $1,500 in March! The only expenses I had were medical bills. Lots and lots of copays. I also had surgery last month, so I've been practicing funemployment for the past three weeks. It's been....interesting. I'm definitely bored, even though I have all the time in the world to watch movies, read books, and study Japanese. I guess now I know that I don't want to just be fully employed. A future of part-time work to cover the bills would be better...

February 2019 Spending and Saving

February was an exciting month for me, which you'd know if you read my previous post. With that said, my funds are low. And I mean LOOOOOW. I am broke, but I have a positive net worth! It's all up from here!
